EY Publishes the Latest European Investment Monitor (EIM) with Data from Glass.AI.

EY recently published its latest European Investment Monitor (EIM) report.

At glass.ai we are pleased to have provided - for the third consecutive year - the underlying data on European greenfield investment. The research was part of our ongoing collaboration with OCO Global.

Our AI research capability crawled thousands of sources in different countries and languages, including news sources, social media, and the websites of investment promotion agencies (IPAs).

Key findings of the report include:

➑ The post-COVID recovery in European foreign direct investment (FDI) ended in 2023, with the number of projects decreasing 4% year on year.

➑ France πŸ‡«πŸ‡· secured the most FDI projects despite a 5% annual decline. The United Kingdom πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ ranked second following a 6% increase. Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ came third after a 12% drop.

➑ Investors rank London as the most attractive city for investment. Paris is a close second.

➑ The United Kingdom accelerated its lead as Europe’s most attractive destination for financial services investment.
